The National Cancer Society of Malaysia is a non-government, non profit
organisation dependent on the generosity of the community to continue to assist
individuals dealing with the trauma of a cancer diagnosis. By joining our generous and valued team of donors you can help us
make a difference.
Please remember that all donations are tax deductible (RM10 minimum).
Based on donor choice, you are invited to choose from the following options:
Unconditional Gift
A donation for a non-specified purpose will be used as part of general funds, which are channeled
into the NCSM’s various services for cancer patients (e.g. financial assistance, diagnostic and
treatment facilities).
Specific Purpose Gift (Grant)
As a donor you may wish that your gift be used for a specific purpose.
For example:
- Children’s Home of Hope
(accomodation for children receiving cancer treatment)
- Resource and Wellness Centre
(cancer information services and awareness campaigns, wellness classes)
- Women’s Cancer Detection & Breast Clinic
(women’s cancer awareness and detection programmes)
- Improving cancer treatment facilities
- Donor Specified
Specific purpose gifts vary in size and often range from RM100 to RM10,000. They are popular
with donors who wish to ensure that their gift is used for a very particular purpose. Their choice is
often based on a personal experience of caring for a loved one living with cancer.
Memorial Gift
A donation that will help make a difference to the lives of cancer patients is a special way to
honour the memory of a loved one. Should you so wish, the next of kin of the person you wish
to honour can be notified of your gesture.
